Täna oli suur pidupäev Kehtnas elavatel Timo ja Margit Sarvil – nende SEB pangakontole laekus 6 miljonit eurot. Aastaid ootamist ja pikki kirjavahetusi Nigeeria endise riigipea pojaga tasus viimaks ära.
„Kõik algas aastal 2013, kui minu e-maili postkasti potsatas kummaline kiri. Kiri oli inglisekeelne ja kirjutatud üsna vigaselt. Kirja saatijaks oli Nigeeria endise riigipea poeg Mohammed Abacha., kes palus konkreetselt minu abi tema isa peidetud raha väljatoomisele kuskilt võõrast pangast. Loomulikult suhtusime sellesse kõigesse suure umbusuga alguses aga siis ei andnud hind ikka asu – ikkagi 30 miljonit ja 20% meile,“ hüüatab Timo.
„Hakkasime siis ise omal käel asja uurima. Vaatasime internetist kohe järgi ja tõepoolest oli selline isik olemas,“ rääkis Timo. „Siis polnud meil abikaasaga enam mingit kahtlust – olime saanud jackpoti!“
Kõik ei läinud siiski nii libedalt kui alguses tundus. „Me oleme siiamaani väga pahased Eesti riigi ja eriti Eesti röövelpankade peale. Käisime kõik pangad läbi ja palusime neilt abi raha siiakandmisel. Igalt poolt saadeti meid sõna otseses mõttes persse ja soovitati mõistus üles leida. Kes nüüd naerab, ah?“ on Margit siiani maruvihane.
Kuna pangad meile vastu ei tulnud, siis alustasid Sarvid ise asja uurimist ja raha kandmiseks võimaluste otsimist. „Me ei saa kahjuks öelda, kuidas täpselt me selle 30 miljonit kätte saime ja Nigeeria endise riigipea pojale üle andsime. Aga ta on aumees – lubas, et kannab meie SEB kontole 20% sellest summast ehk 6 miljonit eurot ja ta tegigi seda,“ on Timo õnnelik.
„Täna saime lõpuks raha kätte – kokku läks 5 aastat tihedat kirjavahetust ja pidevat reisimist Eesti ja Liibüa vahet aga asi oli seda väärt. Nüüd saame lõpuks tasuda oma võlad ja ehk jääb üle midagi ka uue auto liisingu jaoks,“ räägib Margit tulevikuplaanidest.
